I'm gonna go out on a rant here for a bit. Today (after another day of Apocholypitic weather), I was told by the lovely local news that some kid was caught on camera sayin' "I'm gonna get my boyz to shoot up the school" after a brawl in a local (and probably really run down) high school. Oh joy. Obviously the kid was delt with, suspention "With further details in the future." This is why I don't watch the news: I get pissed. Here's the facts: I'm not mad at the news, I'm mad at that kid for saying something so ubelivably stupid. I know Boston is a city, and because of that, people think there is a lot of crime... BUUUUUUUUULLSHOOT. It's in Massachusetts, and any REAL gun owner knows that MA is the A number 1 hardest place to obtain or maintaine a firearm. The FID application here ranges from $100 to $200. That's just a piece of paper, folks. Some states give it FOR FREE. The training can cost from $300 to $500. Then you gotta wait a nice and dandy 6 months. After that, your choices for getting a firearm are less than limited. No "Large bore" (Nothing over 30-06, "Boyz"), nothing that contains more than 5 rounds, NO handguns unless you wanna wait eight weeks (That's right suckers. Eight. It's two everywhere else.), and NO handgun magazines over 8 rounds, so even if you DO get a nice and dandy firearm, it'll have a cheap, cheap, CHEAP mostly synthetic magazine. Got the facts? Not yet! The prices are almost tripled compaired to other areas, which again is why I get transfers from CA if I want anything (One Class 3 dealer can send firearms and equipment over to another Class 3 dealer, who then sells the equipment to you AFTER approval. They make a loooot of cash this way). I have a CETME Model C Spanish rifle, a great .308 that costs a mere $400 if brought surplused from CA. Guess how much one costs here in MA? After the fact that you'll be using HK G3 5 round magazines, which cost $30 a pop (When a CETME 20 round mag can go as low as 3 bucks), you'll be paying $1,400. Inflation? I think so.
So what am I saying? It's not only stupid for that kid to MAKE the threat, but it's ALSO stupid for him to have even openned his mouth: The fact is, he has NO "boyz", and if he did, they have no "gunz." Somebody, PLEASE, PLEEEEASE, find a way to end this "gangstah" generation. And further more, to PROOVE that it's harder to get a gun and that youth violence is almost nothing? Check this out:
Click
Guess where that came from? The FBI itself. No, I ain't kiddin: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/guns.htm
I don't argue unless I can proove it. Let it be known that in MA, we have no "Boyz." Anyone who CLAIMS they have "Boyz," sit down, shut up, and kill yourself. Thank you, this has been another segment of Dr Stupid.

Sorry, can't give it to you. It's for a Christmas Lunch at my church. I can give you the recipe though. It's very easy. Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie. It's very rich, but oh so good. The cocoa cheesecake is going in when the pie is done.

What Inez is trying to say is that since PieXags will be leaving for the Christmas holidays, she'll still want to remember me.
That's it, right? You're going to be eating that wonderful pie and start thinking..."Ah...PieXags, how I wish I'd get to see him smite more often..."

Phew, boy am I tired. Locking repeat threads in the Sanitarium is hard work. Every day I bet on how many rehashed ideas I'll have to close, there hasn't been day so far there's not been a few for me.

I don't know about Pie, but I'm headed home to Louisiana to spend a week with the in-laws. I'll be returning with about 10 extra pounds.
